The Irrigated Cropping Forum

The Irrigated Cropping Forum is the culmination of a plan that has been developing since 1993 to break down the barriers to effective research, development and education in the irrigation areas of the Southern Murray Darling Basin. These barriers have traditionally existed between individuals, regions, States, commodities and institutions and have arisen mainly due to different historical developments in each of the irrigation areas that form the most important food bowl region in Australia.

This web site explains the structure of the Forum, its background and other relevant information concerning its operation.
